Our chief executive, Julian Hartley, explains the value of our Lean for Leaders programme which cover the tools of the Leeds Improvement Method in depth. The course focuses on the power of observation to understand processes and behaviours and using innovation and creativity to develop ideas. All staff with line management responsibility or in a leadership role are encouraged to complete this course and use the tools in their daily work. Leeds Improvement Method is our approach to continuous improvement, and the way we do business across Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. It allows us to be more efficient with all of our resources and provide an improved experience and better outcomes for our patients.
