Recently took a short trip to Port Dickson spanning three days, where we explored a variety of attractions. Below, I outline the top six places easily visited within this timeframe. The total cost for the entire trip, originating from Kuala Lumpur, was around RM 1600 ($350) 1. PD Waterfront: We stayed at a hotel within walking distance of Waterfront, which offered a fantastic atmosphere, a lovely beach, and numerous amenities nearby, including KFC, McDonald's, Starbucks, and Pizza Hut. 2. Alive 3D Art Gallery: Of all the 3D art galleries we've visited in Malaysia, this one stood out as the best. With three floors of exhibits, plenty of Instagram-worthy spots, and an affordable ticket price of RM 30 per person, it was excellent value for money and just a 10-minute walk from PD Waterfront. 3. Cape Rachado Lighthouse: A must-visit for hiking enthusiasts, the trek through the jungle to Cape Rachado Lighthouse offers an enjoyable and interesting experience. The view from the top of the lighthouse provides a stunning panorama of the beach below. It's a 30-minute drive from PD Waterfront. 4. Ostrich Farm and Jurassic Land: Although we didn't have high expectations for the Ostrich Farm, it turned out to be quite an enjoyable experience. Alongside various types of ostriches, there were other animals to see, and the Jurassic Centre provided additional entertainment, all for a total ticket cost of RM 30. It was a 20-minute drive from PD Waterfront. 5. PD Maze: Priced at RM 18 per person, the PD Maze offered an hour of entertainment, despite the weather not being ideal during our visit. Located near the 3D art gallery, it's definitely worth a visit. 6. Blue Lagoon Beach: Considered the best beach in Port Dickson, Blue Lagoon Beach is a popular tourist destination. While it can get crowded, the beach itself is beautiful, with plenty of activities available.
