First let me tell you what Is the same. They grills have the same burners and the same flame tamers style. So the way the two grills cook is going to be the same. The only thing that is functionally different in these grills is going to be the cooking grates themselves. The 700 series have thicker diameter cooking grates and the cooking grates are closer together. So that is kind of cool. The rest of the differences between these two grills is really cosmetic more than anything. The new 700 series is really built for a true built in grill set up. Wheras the prestige series is pretty much a cart designed grill that is turned into a built in combo. What this means is the 700 series being designed for a built in combo, just has a nicer fit and finish in my opinion because it was designed with outdoor kitchens in mind. The actual hood is a lot different too. And offers cleaner lines, and an all stainless steel look. Also the 700 series does not offer all of the lighting features that the pro series does, and does not come standard with a rotisserie kit. All that being said. Napoleon did that on purpose and the reason is, to keep the price down.
