Revealed Bhajan means adoration, glorification of Ishta/chosen Ideal in and through devotional songs, lyrics and hymns as revealed to and elucidated by Prajnanpurush SriSriBabathakur. All songs and lyrics are gifts of supernatural kingdom. When there is supremely harmonious blending of Sur (tune), Chhanda (concord), Taal (musical metre) and Laya (tempo) in human life, man attains divine life and nature. According to Prajnanpurush SriSriBabathathur saying, " It is high time for all to remember and worship Guru and God, not only for the good of a perticular section of people, but also for the good of the entire universe". Elaborating the characteristic features and esoteric value of the revealed songs and lyrics, he utters, " Most of the songs and lyrics revealed to me immediately after the break of Samadhi; very few of them revealed to me in the midst of spiritual discourses, coversations with others and during the time of my relaxation as well as loneliness." "During the high devotional mood or spiritual absorption owing to the intensity of ecstatic joy, when mind reached a very high state of spiritual divine experience, became peaceful for a prolonged period and during decent, cognition of such states revealed in the nature of all these divine songs and lyrics ( which are mostly in Bengali; a few in Sanskrit, Hindi and English). That is why in the language of songs and lyrics somewhere is found the essence and indication of impersonal Godhead of transcendental nature; somewhere that of personal Godhead; somewhere that of divine and super-human state and nature--ever free from space, time, person, causation complex--though expressed in human language." Referring to His spontaneous utterences and singing, he says that He sings not for His own satisfaction or delight of others. The Divine Mother/Self through His body instrument reveals the songs and lyrics and distributes them out of grace and compassion to the listeners. He adds further, " Revealed songs are verily basic Reality. Sur (tune) is Its life (Prana), Chhanda (concord) is its knowledge (Vijnana); without Chhanda, Sur is not perfect and without Sur, Chhanda is imperfect. Both together reveal the divine Essence." The beloved Master Prajanpurush SriSriBabathakur points out, "One should depend upon the Divine Mother entirely and constantly sing the Bhajans. One should keep the door of the heart always open and learn to love the Self-Divine. Then the ruler of the heart--Hansaram, Pranaram, etc. would take its possession and manifest His glory. In this way divinization of life take place. For full divinization of life, singing the Bhajans of Sarveshwar is a must. The Bhajans have the potency of purification of the mind and heart of a singer like that of Mantras..."
