‪@hazelmillsmusic‬ who has been working with‪@udo_audio‬ , introduced us to the RBN1 Ribbon Controller. Designed to work with the UDO Super 6 as well as any synth with an expression input, the RBN1 is a magnetic add-on that easily integrates with modulation setups. Hazel detailed how the modulation mapping operates through the mod matrix, allowing for various parameter assignments from pitch to filter cutoff. Demonstrating the controller's versatility, she showed how it can manipulate delay times (amongst other things), creating unique effects. Additionally, Hazel mentioned the SuperTouch 49 keybed upgrade (user retrofittable), which introduces polyphonic aftertouch, enhancing expressive play, particularly for ambient and complex arpeggiated music. The RBN1 is set for a December release at £250, while the SuperTouch 49 keybed is available now for £350 and is user installable.
