Cats have emerged as the unexpected beneficiaries, with spending on feline gifts rising far faster than for any other pet. STORYLINE: The timeless friendship between human and pet can be seen on these London streets all year round. But the bonds of love and loyalty are increasingly being reflected in retail behaviour, and Valentine’s Day is the latest occasion.
