This IBM PS/1 Modell 2011 is in an excellent condidion almost new because it was only 2 years in use. The power supply is inside the monitor so you switch the unit on or off by just pressing the monitor power switch. In the base unit is the motherboard with a 10MHz 286 CPU and 1MB of RAM. The unit is also equipped with a 40MB harddisk. Very nice is the in-ROM PC-DOS 4.01 which comes with a custom GUI which looks like a pimped up dosshell-version but much better. In-ROM DOS is by the way a very useful anti virus protection because there is no way to harm the system files. But you can also select to start the DOS from harddisk so you can use more modern versions of DOS or Windows. I installed Windows 3.0, it works well but maybe it works even better if you install specific device drivers. Overall a very nice and authentic machine. The BIOS battery was in a socketed Dallas Real time module which I exchanged with a new one. Tell me how you like it! Cheers Fabian
