COP29 ends with a deal, but also disappointment

Wealthy countries at the United Nations climate summit agreed Sunday to pool together at least $300 billion a year by 2035 to help developing nations cope with the damaging effects of climate change. Most of the funds will go toward building the infrastructure needed to deploy solar and wind energy, helping communities adapt and prepare for extreme weather events and helping leaders improve emergency plans in the wake of disasters. The deal, struck at the COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, falls short of the $1.3 trillion developing countries asked for and what experts recommended. PBS News' William Brangham reports.
