The Black Book of Mordor The Legacy of Vóin Chapter 8 - A Land of Dragons Chapter 8.1: The Black Book of Mordor Chapter 8.2: The Zhélruka Chapter 8.3: An Inhospitable Land Chapter 8.4: The Stones of Skarháld Chapter 8.5: The Warrior Found Instance monologue: "This is near the location where Vútro encountered the Weeping Warrior. Where then has he gone?" Chapter 8.6: Tremors in the Foundation Chapter 8.7: The First Promise Instance monologue: "Skarháld is under attack! Karazgar seeks the fulfillment of his promise!" So we finally found Karazgar and he seems to be "one ugly mf". I'm still not fond of the guy. He just appeared out of nowhere and he has an army of drakes. I wonder if he couldn't have used them in the war and finished off Gondor by himself?! I suppose we'll have to wait and see how the plot evolves. Another thing I'm not fond of is Dwarves... yes, I'm an Elf fan-boy and besides Gimli, I think Dwarves tend to be mischievous and only care about you if they think it's going to benefit them. Elves on the other hand (especially the ones in the First Age) might not care about you at all, so I don't know why I just said that. But yeah, not fond of Dwarves... BUT!!! Jeez, this area is amazing! The soundtrack is amazing, the scenery is amazing, the ambience, with all the rocky outcrops and dragon skelletons, is amazing, the Dwarven architecture is amazing, the story is... mixed feelings about that one. Like I said, Karazgar seems too OP and too omnipresent, but I'm enjoying this inexperienced-but-eager Durin and his relationship with the Zhérluka and, especially, the Zhérluka and their search for Thafar-gathol! Eager to see more! Lore discussion: The Zhélruka Dwarves are Tolkien's Ironfists, one of the seven houses of Dwarves. I don't know why LotRO uses Zhélruka instead of Ironfist, but it might be related to copyright issues (like Annatar being called Antheron), but I like the idea and it helps developling their backstory.
