Chauvet Xpress 512S Setup Tutorial

Hi, I am the technician for Midas Entertainment, it has been 3 years since I created and uploaded this video and in it I am going to help you get your Chauvet ShowXpress working on windows. But I do highly recommend for live solo dj's doing lighting to use SoundSwitch and if you have a lighting engineer at your events to consider WolfMix. Chauvet is a good first step and will help you understand the innerworkings of DMX but there is a lot more that can be done with the previous two mentions. I also highly recommend getting a pack of wireless donner dmx transmitters, they work amazing and will make your events look better with less hassle during setup. If you have a Chauvet Xpress 512S but it will not connect to or recieve signals from Chauvet ShowXpress then this is the video for you. You will learn how to manually install 512S device drivers in the windows device manager and how to add and test your first light so that you can get working on your lightshows.
