The Panasonic RF-080 AM FM portable radio has that elegant class found in the 1980s. The thin design was ahead of it's time. Using this receiver is a dream, and I love the tuning LED that can be viewed from the top as well as the front. Above Average FM Reception. Above Average MW Reception during the Day and Evening Hours. Tuning LED, that is very reactive to the signal strength. Easy to service, once you figure out where the tabs are. Quality components inside. Top Tuning Knob. This works well. Small, but legible dial. Made in Japan. Tops out at 1680kHz on the MW dial. Overall, a very cool, collectible from the 80s. I love this design, and I may have owned a tape player that was similar in style from Panasonic. If you find one of these, give it a go. Very sensitive on the MW band, and FM is a treat as well. Thank you for watching.
