Hi! My name is Emma and I am a professional freeride mountain biker. On this channel, I will show you all my local trails and also some favourite trails from my travels. Come along as I show you Shikaka, which is a grade 5 advanced tech trail in the Be Lomond Trail network located in Queenstown Bike Park, accessible via the Skyline Gondola or by peddling up the Skyline access road. Shikaka starts at almost the top of the gondola, you ride the first part of Lazy Vertigo until the first road crossing then go 15m on the trail and turn left. This trail has some steep, rooty and rocky sections and LOTS of line choices - choosing the right line is key to dial this trail in, so ride it a few times to enjoy it to the fullest! In this series, I’ll be riding every trail around Queenstown, showing you what each one’s really like from the rider’s perspective.
