Adam Hansen has stopped racing as a pro cyclist but he’s never idle. At 39, he’s decided to build his own bike (at his home in the Czech Republic), complete with a new style of gear shifting and a long list of features that are part of a revolutionary new design. The aim is for it to be aero rather than light, with a long wheelbase for stability and to allow the rider to feel more centred, and for it to be raced in triathlon competition… including the Hawaii Ironman later this year.
