Futzbox by McDSP is a classic distortion and noise generator plug-in for creating low-fidelity versions of audio signals. With the help of its numerous, extremely optimized Synthetic Impulse Models, or SIMs, it’s perfect for creating futzed versions of dialog and other tracks that mimic the sounds of radios, phones, televisions, and other devices. In addition to its library of over 150 SIMs, Futzbox features 2 filtering and EQ sections, a noise generator section that includes a ducking feature, a hyper-gate at the end of its signal path, lofi controls for modifying the sample rate and bit depth of the input signal, input and output level controls and meters, and a mix control.
