Call me overly romantic, but I love the idea of people communicating in secret with flowers, but floriography is something I only just learnt about. It got me thinking, just how much do we say with the perfumes we wear? Do we choose certain perfumes when we are with certain people? Do people think about and want fragrances with meaning for their weddings? Do people still choose certain flowers in their wedding bouquets to communicate particular messages? So here I give you a brief summary of 10 flowers that are also used as floral perfume notes and some examples of perfumes with those floral notes. If you are looking for a wedding fragrance, knowing the meaning of different flowers and floral notes may make your final wedding perfume decision easier and some of these fragrances might be ones to check out or to begin your hunt with. I've thrown in some beautiful Greek myths in this video too because I find them fascinating and ultimately, so many floral meanings and names have their roots in ancient myths and beliefs.
