DIY TVC - Transformer Volume Control as Passive Preamp !

This TVC is my diy project in 1997, now I'm trying to fix it by changing from a stereo attenuator to a separate monoural with Siemens 24 step NOS. In this use TVC functions as a Passive Preamp. In the use of volume control is usually a carbon brush or resistor, but this TVC I use a transformer and coil with an inductance that guarantees a pure AC filter, the natural sound from the Source , it is the colorless (which can be used in the active preamp) , the impression of the stage is wide and deep and detailed (the influence of the core material used - Amorphous). For the specifications of this TVC, I forgot to look for the archive. It has a Primary DCR :305ohm / 7 H - current : 5-10ma.
