Recently upgraded to the Escort M2 from the Escort M1. Pretty disappointed that they seemingly used the exact same 1080p sensor for the same price of $200. The good thing about the M2 is that it has basically all the modern features you would expect from a premium priced dash cam. The bad thing is it has the video quality of a low end dash cam. I'd have lived with it simply due to the convenience of having power passthrough to my iXc but the video quality is comparable to $50 dash cams you can get any day at best buy. I'd like to give a special shoutout to the Drive Smarter app required to use the dashcam that's literally the worst. I spent 45 minutes trying to pair this to the app and was infuriated when i finally saw how marginal the video quality improvements were over the M1.
