2025.08.04 Welcome back to Adventures with Angela and Julian! 🌲🚙 This time, we’re heading back to the beautiful Kootenays for a few days of camping at Davis Creek Provincial Park on Kootenay Lake. Our round trip took us across stunning landscapes as we explored the old Marble Mine, drove to the base of Monica Meadows, and even spotted a mama grizzly with two cubs — plus a black bear! 🐻❄️ The glaciers were absolutely breathtaking, and the weather gave us a taste of October in the middle of summer. We also crossed Upper Arrow Lake on the Needles–Fauquier cable ferry, which was such a unique experience. It was an unforgettable trip, and we can’t wait to share it with you! From Cooper Creek, head north on the Duncan River forest service road for 10.0 km to the Glacier Creek road. Follow the main Glacier Creek road for 37.4 km(keep right at the 23.4 km junction) to a fork in the road. Take this left fork for 5.5 km (keeping right at the 1.7 km junction). The trailhead is on the left.
