This video shows you how to reduce the risk of chainsaw incidents by showing you how to handle the saw and explaining why it's got to be done that way. This includes picking the right saw for the job, inspecting the saw before each use, sharpening the chain, fuelling and oiling the saw, wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment, carrying and starting the saw in a safe manner, using the saw and avoiding kickback. This video is intended to be used in conjuction with formal and on-the-job training.
