February 28-March 1, 2026: Opening day on Saturday was a rough one, as opening days usually are at all parks. For the first time this decade, this park was not open for most of January & February, due to winters getting colder and colder. So on this opening day, rides had a very difficult time staying operational, and the park drew a massive crowd. I ended up leaving quite early, which is unusual for me, but I only was able to do 3 rides in 6 hours at the park. I didn't bother with the after-hours passholder ride time on Mr Freeze & Batman the Ride, as Mr Freeze barely operated, and most guests in the park were passholders anyway, so I suspect that the after-hours ride time wouldn't have gone well. The following day, Sunday, was a much better day. Rides weren't breaking down nearly as much, and the crowds weren't as insane, although still quite large. It was nice to be back at a park, even if I didn't get much riding done, and it was great to see the progress being made with Tormenta. They had completed the through the mid-course break run, so track work was 2 elements away from being completed. I would still guess for early May as the earliest possible opening time for the ride, if everything goes perfectly.
