Find on Reverb: https://tinyurl.com/CarolineArigato The Arigato is a phaser that nods to the past but presents a wider range of tones and sweeps that simply weren’t offered to guitarists who grew up in the era of one knob phasers and corduroy pants! It all starts with a warm 4-stage analog OTA phaser circuit with a Mix control. This allows you to select right off the bat if the phaser is back in the mix, a classic 50-50 mix or fully wet for vibrato effects. Iconic phaser sounds are easily dialed in with knobs at noon and you can explore the AIM or target frequency knob to adjust the intensity and color of the phase tone. A feedback control extends the upper frequencies, giving you both warm subtle shading all the way to maximum swish, since part of the circuit is phased and then phased again. Taking the Arigato further is a Mod knob which alters notches and feel of the sweep. Up is “Matched” while down is “Decades” which brings this phaser closer to a vibe effect with an asymmetrical pulse and different range of enhanced frequencies. All these interactive controls create a huge palette of sounds but probably the most drastic is the waveform switch which gives you triangle or square wave bleeps which can be very percussive and almost sample and hold-like. Combine this with Caroline’s famous Havoc switch to blast instantly to maximum speed and the Arigato has something for everyone, not just rockers.
