Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has announced a failure to report child sexual abuse will become an offence. The prime minister said those "spreading lies" about child sexual abuse are "not interested in victims". Sir Keir also said "a line had been crossed" in the attacks on safeguarding minister Jess Phillips, who Musk labelled a "witch" and "rape genocide apologist". He also attacked the Tories for not calling out the comments, saying too many politicians were "casual about honesty and decency".
