Plastic is a material widely used in daily life, such as food packaging and bags for carrying items. However, many plastic products such as food packaging are disposable and are thrown away after use, becoming garbage. The decomposition process of plastic is different from that of other substances and takes a very long time. The long process of decomposing and excessive use causes plastic waste to accumulate. This problem needs a solution because if we don't handle it soon, mountains of plastic waste will damage the environment. Recycle can be a solution for this problem, we can recycle the plastic waste become a furniture. First, we separate plastic waste because there is plastic waste that cannot be recycled. The plastic waste then undergoes a shredding or cutting process and after that is placed in a melting process. The melting process machine or the melter produces a mixture of dissolved plastic waste. The mixture is then placed in a molding and cooled. After cooling, the shaped fabric is assembled into furniture along with other similarly shaped into a furniture. This method can be a solution for decreasing number of plastic waste. Students: Intan Novitasari Ramzi Azri Athaya Jahra Rasikah Lecturer: Indriana Lestari, S.T., M.T.
