St. Martha's Episcopal Church, was built between 1952 and 1953, with its consecration on May 26, 1954. The church is located in the Herman Gardens neighborhood of Detroit, The building was designed by Giffels & Valet Inc., L. Rossetti and funded by a $1,000,000 donation from Clara Ford, Henry and Clara Ford are buried on the church grounds. St. Martha's Episcopal Church closed in 2008. The church was maintained for a period after closure, but was not open for regular services.
