The Mumbai Trimandir is located at Rishivan Kajupada on Abhinavnagar Road in the suburb of Borivali-East. The entire complex is surrounded by a lush, green forest and the Satsang Hall is on the ground floor of the temple. Within the temple, visitors will find the idols of Gods of Jainism, Shaivism, and Vaishnavism (along with Gods and Goddesses from other religions), which share equal reverence on the same platform. The idol of Lord Shree Simandhar Swami sits at the center, made entirely of marble and is 156 inches high. The idol of Tulja Bhavani Maa is also located in the Trimandir, as the Goddess was the protective patron deity of the Maratha King Shivaji and is highly worshipped by the people of Maharashtra. Mumbai Trimandir Situated near beautiful surroundings of National Park in Borivali, the Non-sectarian temple - Trimandir’s total height of 121 ft makes it one of the tallest Temples in Mumbai. The 12.7 ft idol of Lord Simandhar Swami weighing about 18,000 kg, adds to the uniqueness of this temple as it is the tallest idol of Lord Simandhar Swami (seating) in and around Mumbai. The Trimandir is the innovative temple concept of Param Pujya A. M. Patel, also known as Dada Bhagwan. Herein, the Lords of the three major religions in India, namely Jainism – Shri Simandhar Swami, Shaivism - Shivlinga, and Vaishnavism – Lord Krishna (along with many Gods and Goddesses including Saibaba, Balaji and Tulja Bhavani) are brought together on the same platform, thus making it a one-of-a-kind non-sectarian temple. The temple design allows the worship of these Lords in one place, at one time. Thus, worshippers are rewarded with two experiences: One is the eradication of deep-seethed opinions of religious differences (the base of all religious feelings of separation) and another is spiritual progress. In reality, the core intent of all these Lords is the same: To realize your true Self, the Soul (Self Realization). Lord Mahavir’s deshna (speech of the Omniscient One) is entirely about the Soul, which is also exactly what Lord Krishna refers to in the entire Bhagavad Gita. And finally, in order to propagate the ultimate reality of ‘I am the pure Soul’, the difference between Jiva and Shiva needs to be eradicated. This is what a visitor gains with the grace of all Lords housed in the Trimandir. The Non-Sectarian Temple is open for all. The Bookstall - Visitors who are interested in finding out more about Dada Bhagwan’s Spiritual Science of Akram Vignan can visit the Bookstall, which is located within the temple. The Bookstall has Books, Audio CDs, DVDs, Audio Books, Photos and much more in Gujarati, English, Hindi, German, Portuguese, Spanish and other Indian languages also. Amba Foods - Serves a variety of pure vegetarian Indian snacks. Lastly but not the least, and one my favorite part of this temple is its magnificent view. This temple shares same border wall with Sanjay Gandhi National Park, therefore from here you can enjoy Jungle as well as city view at the same time. Accessibility to this temple is very convenient and affordable. Here you can travel by Local Western Railway till Borivali. Then from Borivali east you can catch AC bus number 477 with name plate of Rushivan just in 6 rs. This bus will drop you till the last stop name as Rushivan itself and temple is in front of the Bus Station. Even if one can travel by Metro. You can drop down to Rastriya Udyan. And from there its 7 mins walkable. So what are you waiting for do visit this place and absorb all the positivity and purity. Make sure you do not damage the property and keep the place clean and beautiful.
