This guide will help new Survivors in Dead by Daylight make the best builds they can using only the survivors that come with the base game. I made survivor-specific builds so that people can make a viable build even if they're only leveling one survivor at a time! These aren't necessarily the "best overall" builds using only the free perks, but the best builds for learning the game. For example, the second Meg build I feature here is super strong in the hands of an experienced survivor, but a new survivor will struggle to make the most out of that advanced build. This guide is geared toward people who are just starting out their Dead by Daylight journey, and can hopefully serve as a reminder to more experienced players of the value of some of the beginner perks in the game.
