My name is Tommy and I am travelling from Manchester, my home, to Australia to watch the Ashes, without stepping on a plane. This was no doubt the most dangerous few days of travel I have had on my trio to date, and I don’t think it will be topped at any point. Balochistan is a slightly complicated region, it extends into both Iran and Pakistan, and whilst both are considered dangerous, the Pakistan side is seen as more dangerous than the Iranian one. As a result, after arriving into Pakistan, I was received by a military/police escort the entire time, and was not allowed to go off by myself, though I do believe if you really wanted to, technically the police can’t entirely stop you. The security in this area is a constant reminder of where I was, and I got asked dozens of times what on earth I was doing in the area. I spend 2 nights on the floor of a Pakistani jail, and a total of 3 days in police custody, ending with me being placed on a bus that ended up going in a totally different direction to where I was told, which I only found out about half way through the trip. I’m in country number 15, Pakistan, and it’s been lovely so far! Pakistan is my 15th country to date on this trip So far I have travelled - England - Netherlands - Germany - Austria - Slovenia - Croatia - Montenegro - Albania - north Macedonia - Bulgaria - turkey - Georgia - Armenia - Iran - Pakistan #travel #travelling #travelvideo #travelvlog #traveling #iran #persia #pakistan #irantravel #backpacker #england #ashes
