As a Black American, I’ve seen a lot about African history — but nothing hit like this. Reacting to the Khoi (or Khoisan) tribes of South Africa opened my eyes. These are the original people of the region — some say of the entire modern human race. From their language filled with clicks, to their deep connection to the land, and their ancient DNA, this video made me realize: we’re looking at living history. I came in curious — left inspired.
