We know a good time doesn’t depend on having a drink — and we want to share that message. ‘It’s Not About the Beers’ is a reminder that YOU create the moments, the memories, and the connections 🍃☀️ The most memorable nights, authentic connections, and bold experiences happen when we make it about us — not the beers ✨ Mount Alexander Shire Council has partnered with artist and filmmaker, Izzy Little, and local young people to create a digital campaign aimed at raising awareness about alcohol use and promoting positive, alcohol-free lifestyles for young people. The campaign was rolled out online during the summer break of 2025 along with the launch of this short film at the bi-annual youth film festival, COscars.
