102nd Lands End Trial, Blue Hills 2, 2026, Highlights

2026 sees 102nd running of the Lands End Trial by The Motor Cycling Club. Originally known as the London to Lands End reliability trial, it has been held over Easter since 1908, with only the war years and Covid preventing the running of the event. The competitors leave Bridgewater, Somerset on Friday night and finish on Saturday after completing approximately 243 miles over 17 hours, ending at Redruth, Cornwall. The Blues Hills site shown here , located on the cliff tops near St. Agnes, were first used 90 years ago in 1936, it is one of the more challenging sections for the the competitors. During the main event they will attempt 12 other sections and two time tests. This year saw entries from all around Great Britain and from as far as Sweden and South Korea. There were approximately 330 competitors taking part over the various classes.
