The BrentoPro Series Mach-4 Case Packer provides customers with a high speed flexible solution for loading a wide range of products in cases or trays on the same machine. It forms, loads, and completes up to 75 cases and trays per minute. The Mach-4 allows multiple pack patterns and wraparound cases and trays including economical, five panel wraparound cases for traditional RSC applications. Environmental impact of packaging operations is minimized through the appropriate use of electronic and servo drives, resulting in less wasted energy and product and packaging materials. Product is metered and released using dual-pin servo technology. The released pack pattern moves on to the pack transfer area where it meets the shuttle L-shaped blank. Case blanks are vacuum picked from the horizontal magazine, erected into an L-shape, and shuttled across chain conveyor to meet the pack pattern at the pack transfer area. Traps in the case transfer area ensure positive transfer of the case blank over to the flights. Position and speed of the product transfer unit in relation to the blank allows for continuous pack pattern loading into the L-shaped case. After loading, the case moves through the continuous folding, sealing, and compressing sections of the machine. The finished case is then discharged from the machine.
