How do you choose the color of your sunglass lenses? Base Color of Lens - (00:19) It always starts with the base tint of your lens, changing what you see. Rose tints tend to make everything feel “lighter” while the grey/green lenses “cool” colors down. The happy medium is the bronze or amber base tint. Polarized or Nonpolarized - (1:20) Costs more, but it’s the only way to cut glare. Darker lenses along don’t fix the problem. Choosing a Mirror Coating - (1:50) Personal choice. It makes your frames standout more than a traditional flat lens.
