Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa - Is It Any Good?

Sawadee khap! As part of the Hua Hin trip vlogs, I have included a video on the Hilton Hua Hin Resort and Spa. To be fair, it is a nice hotel and the location is great. There are extra touches that I guess you pay for, your clothes taken up to the room and put in the wardrobe for you, more electrical sockets than you could possibly use, waitresses putting you napkin on your lap and so on. The rooms are modern and clean. The views are great. What's not to like? The price! (rooms are advertised from 4, 666 ++) Our room was on a special promotion and cost us 3,300 THB per night. It should have been 6,600 THB! We got two nights for the price of one. It is 152 GBP or 201 USD per night and I really don't think the resort is worth those prices. I have stayed in similar standard accommodation for half the price in some stunning places in Thailand. However, you do not have to eat and drink in the Hilton. There is plenty of choice in the bars and restaurants around the hotel, so it's not all negative. Plus, breakfast was included (snacks and drinks weren't) and it was the best breakfast buffet I have been to. The whole experience was 4 out of 5 for me.
