This mid-sized chemical plant located in the Netherlands was fully laser scanned with TruView being generated in intensity colors. This site was particularly challenging to complete due to the presence of dense steam clouds in many locations. Since the site remained operational throughout the survey process it was a case of waiting for favorable wind conditions to complete individual scans. Following point cloud capture 3Deling was commissioned to produce an AVEVA PDMS Model with a full catalog. We also provided clash verification services between the as-built model and newly designed installations ensuring design integrity before moving to the construction stage.
