It has won the seats in Johikat, Bahadurganj, Kochadhaman, Amour and Baisi. Notably, four of these seats, excluding Bahadurganj, were secured by the party in the 2020 Assembly elections. The party’s show appears to have contributed to the Mahagathbandhan’s woes in the Seemanchal region. For now, the Muslim vote, which powered Owaisi's AIMIM to its breakout performance of five seats in 2020, looks intact. The party is part of the Grand Democratic Alliance, which includes Chandrasekhar Azad's Azad Samaj Party, Mayawati’s BSP and Swami Prasad Maurya's Apna Janata Party. They contested 64 seats. Its partners failed to win any seats.
