Zanskar valley is a semi-arid region and is situated at a height of 13,154 ft in the norther flank of the Himalayas. The valley is characterized by the presence of lush landscape, snow capped mountains, and multiple water bodies with sparkling water. The distance between Leh and Zanskar is 105 Kms. There are also several water sports that one can experience at Zanskar such as paragliding, water gliding, water rafting, etc. In fact, it is only possible to travel to Zanskar during the months between June to September 2022 as in winter months , the temperature can dip to as low as -30 degrees.
