We will cover all the appropriate modifications needed to turn a normal road car into a track car. Our goal is to finish the car by September in time for the CSCS Round 5 at Toronto Motorsport Park, where we will find out how our car holds up against some of the best time attack cars. Although an E55 is a powerful car to begin with, it is going to require a lot of modification to be competitive in the time attack. We will have to reduce the weight significantly, move to a better suspension, add a roll cage, add bigger intercoolers and brake vents and finally add even more power. It will be a very challenging build as aftermarket tuning parts are very difficult to find for this car, but we are sure it will turn out to be an exciting, fun to drive and quick track car.
