KPFA hosts Lady Esther & Computrblu live from the Craneway Craft Fair in Richmond, Ca. Simulcast on KPFA Radio 94.1 FM Day 1 of The 2023 Craneway Craft Fair on Saturday, November 25 and 10 am to 5 pm, at the gorgeous Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, CA. The fair explores high-quality, handmade goods from your favorite California artists and craftspeople at this beautiful pavilion on Richmond’s historic waterfront. The Craneway Craft Fair provides an annual opportunity for the Bay Area community to support, enjoy, and be nourished by local artisans in much the same way the community interacts with KPFA. The fair showcases 200 juried and diverse exhibitors, including both master artisans and emerging newcomers. Their original art and crafts displays are joined by fair trade vendors and non-profit organizations to fill the pavilion with a rich assortment of sensory and informational offerings. All proceeds from the event benefit Berkeley’s KPFA 94.1 public radio – speaking truth to power daily! For over 50 years, the craft fair has helped sustain this vital listener-funded radio station.
