#SubhashNagar #delhicrime #Rajaourigarden #Delhimetro #DelhiPolice A nephew actually fired at his own uncle. The family feud had escalated so much that the nephew ended up shooting his own uncle. In Subhash Nagar, Delhi, what started as a minor dispute turned into fear and chaos, shattering the warmth of family relationships in an instant. This is the story of 24-year-old Sahil, also known as Mayank or Janu, who could not tolerate the ongoing small disagreements with his uncle and, in a fit of anger, took such a drastic step. Sahil, along with his friend Rishabh Puri, drove to his uncle’s house in Subhash Nagar and fired four rounds. The shooting was over a family dispute and the possession of a car. After the incident, both fled the scene, leaving neighbors in shock and fear. The police acted immediately, and the WR-I Crime Branch team began their investigation. It was found that Sahil and his associates had been hiding in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, frequently changing locations to evade arrest. Using both manual and technical intelligence, the team tracked and caught Sahil near Ring Road, Rajouri Garden Metro Station. The Maruti Baleno car used in the crime was also recovered. During interrogation, Sahil admitted that his uncle was pressuring him to compromise in the murder case of his late father, who was killed in 2022 in Paharganj, Delhi, involving Joginder Sharma and others. Sahil further revealed that the ongoing dispute over the car and family pressures had enraged him, prompting him to teach his uncle a lesson, with his friend’s involvement. This led to the firing incident in Subhash Nagar. Sahil is not a new offender. Several cases are already registered against him, including under IPC sections 160, 186/353/332, 307/34/201, and 324/506. He entered the world of crime in 2020 and has been involved in multiple cases, including attempt to murder. This incident highlights how minor disputes, if left unresolved, can escalate into serious crimes, creating fear and breaking family bonds. The police arrested the accused and registered a case under FIR No. 528/2025, under Sections 25/27 Arms Act and 125 BNS. Residents of Subhash Nagar can now breathe a little easier, but the impact on broken relationships and fear remains visible. The case also serves as a warning that anger and pride can turn even small disagreements into life-altering events. Sahil’s arrest showcases the police’s prompt action and technical intelligence capabilities, sending a clear message that no one can escape the law. Neglecting the importance of relationships and family safety can have severe consequences, and this incident stands as a harsh lesson in that regard.
