Sensuous and fierce, Ghostlight weaves together five dynamic sections that bounce off the individual dancers and their relationships within the group. Weare uses the unique qualities of the Buzz dancers to form their roles within the work, asking them to tap into something tender, sly, stubborn, hard-edged, and vulnerable; tools we all use in our constant search for contact and connection. NYC-based choreographer Kate Weare creates intensely physical interludes between dancers that allow each artist's individuality to shine through, fuelling raucous and tender investigations of partnership, identity and autonomy.
