The weather was unexpectedly sunny, so we just wandered around the city, soaking in the Christmas atmosphere and letting ourselves blend into the rhythm of local life. We joined the little crowds at Jardin des Tuileries, found a perfect seat in the park, had some treats, and just slowed down for a while. In the evening, we had a proper, comforting dinner which is simple, warm, and exactly what we needed. It wasn’t a grand Christmas or a packed itinerary.
