Despite being very close to Kathmandu, the Langtang Region is as wild as any Tibetan highlands with idyllic rural landscape with the varieties of vegetation, wild birds/animals, majestic waterfalls and snow-capped Himalayas making the trek one of the most diverse treks. The 7 Days Langtang Valley Trek starts with a day ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We begin the walk from Syabrubesi (1400 mts). We head upward to Lama Hotel (2500 mts) and Langtang village (3500 mts) until we arrive at the famous Kyanjin Gompa (3850 mts). After exploring the region and hiking upto Kyanjin Ri (4800 mts) for a panoramic view of Langtang Himalayan range, we trek the same route to Syabrubesi from where we drive back to Kathmandu. --- In the video: My wife (Sachina Shakya) Music by: KUTUMBA (Fantastic musical band!
