This video has tips for adjusting the carburetor on a Farmall H. There are two main screws you'll be adjusting to properly setup your carburetor as well as setting the low idle with the low idle screw. The Idle Air Screw that I point out at the front of the carburetor near the top, controls the amount of air through the idle circuit that is allowed to bypass the throttle butterfly. If you are starting with a fresh carb or yours is just way out of adjustment, a good base to start with is 1.5 turns out. Turn the idle air screw in, until it lightly seats, do not force it tight, then back it out 1.5 turns. The Main Load Screw controls the amount of fuel that can pass through the main jet to pass through the metering stem and into the path of the intake air to be drawn into the engine. If you are starting with a fresh carb or yours is just way out of adjustment, a good base to start with is 2 turns out. Turn the main load screw in, until it lightly seats, do not force it tight, then back it out 2 turns. Once you have adjusted the fuel and air, you can go back and adjust the low idle screw out to achieve the lowest stable idle, which according to original specifications, you want to be around 450 RPMS.
