This video is part one of the iconic W Trek in Torres del Paine, Argentina, exploring some of Patagonia’s most epic landscapes. The adventure started with a scenic bus ride to the trailhead at Las Torres. From there, I turned off the main trail and trekked to the lesser-known Cerro Paine, a challenging scree slog with incredible panoramic views of the Torres, Lago Torres, surrounding peaks, and even glimpses toward the massive Perito Moreno Glacier and the southern Patagonian ice field. After soaking in the views, I made my way to the Lagoon Torres before reconnecting with the W Trek at Camping Chileno. The journey continued along the shores of Lago Nordenskjöld, passing iconic viewpoints like the Cuernos and spires, before arriving at Camping Francés for the night. Along the way, I stopped at several refugios to enjoy the scenery and local food before finishing part one at the Francés Valley. What an unforgettable start to this legendary trek — stay for part two next week for the frances valley, grey glacier, and more!
