On the auspicious day of Tangpo many people gathered to offer prayers and seek blessings. Devotees also brought donations such as milk, food items, ration, and money for the people who came to pray. Under the guidance of the president of Shenam Tsogspa, Sir Noney, the community lovingly prepared and served lunch to everyone who visited from early morning (around 6 AM) until the evening. After the prayers, the remaining food supplies and rations were donated to old age homes — Mahabodhi Old Age Home, Help Age India Shey, and TCV Old Age Home — so that the elderly residents could also benefit from this act of kindness.
