This video features the first part of my cloth pad & RUMPS stash. UPDATE: Hi All! I'm going to address this because I've seen it come up in the comments section a couple of times now and even though I do discuss it at the end of the second part of this video I thought it would be helpful to add it here as well. YES, I have far more cloth pads than any one person would need for one cycle, I discuss this many times throughout my videos but I will explain here as well. My cloth pads are a collection, a far more functional collection than anything else I collect. The best analogy I can give for why some of us have large stashes is to liken them to underwear, the most closely related article of clothing. If you were doing laundry every week, you would only really NEED 7 pairs of underwear, or maybe 10 at the most, but I'm guessing that most of us have at least double this amount. You can go to any mall and find at least one store dedicated purely to selling underwear, so I guessing most of us have far more than we actually need. But there are also benefits to having a large cloth pad stash (if you can make one or afford to buy one). Having a large stash lengthens the length of time you will have your pads. Of course, just like any other item of clothing, your pads will eventually get worn out. Their length of use is going to be much shorter if you are using the same handful of pads every cycle. Lastly, I've been using cloth pads for more than 5 years - so that's the biggest reason why my stash is larger than someone who may be just starting out. I enjoy sewing my pads, which is how I started using them, and will make news ones whenever I am in the mood (or when I get a fabric that I must have in pad form lol). I also like a lot of different shapes and styles, much like you would like to wear a different pair of underwear one day based on your mood, same goes for cloth pads. And of course, I love supporting the many awesome women who make pads. If you've seen my unboxing videos you will likely already know this one ;) Any other q's, please feel free to ask in the comments below.
