2012 - 2019 Toyota Highlander 2.7L I4 - In this video I'll show you how I replaced the water pump, accessory belt, and belt tensioner assembly in a 2013 Toyota Highlander. This water pump is also used in the 2.7L Venza, Sienna, Rav 4, Camry and Scion TC where the repair procedure should be virtually identical. The customer had been complaining of belt squeal noise along and having to add coolant on a monthly basis. I recommended replacement of the water pump, tensioner pulley assembly, and the accessory belt considering the vehicle had over 150k miles. The factory original water pump is made by Aisin, which is the Toyota OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part. Gates is a world renowned manufacturer of belts, tensioners, and belt bearings.
