Brand: Philips Model: Philetta B2D03A Date: 1960 I did a little experiment with this radio. I put the whole chassis into the dishwasher at 40°C (without the tubes). After some decades of misuse in some kitchens it has been all sticky and stuff from frying-fat and such. So I tried to let it clean by the dishwasher and to me it worked perfectly well. It is very important tho, to dry it after that action. At least 5 hours at 50°C (in the oven or such). In my case I dried it too short and the rectifier died at the first try. Temperatures over 50°C can damage the coils and other components. I cannot recommend this procedure yet for all dirty chassis, but I will continue my experiments. Other than that; many Philettas miss that little sign below the buttons. I found a seller on ebay, who's re-producing these small signs, so I ordered two.
