Mathematics and Music! Why do these subjects seem to have such close connections? In this video I want to start a discussion about the structure of (western) music from melodic, harmonic and rhythmic points of view. Maybe we can move towards identifying what components of our musical landscape are intrinsic, or largely so, and which components are more cultural.
