Rishi Sunak said the Greek government broke 'assurances' that it wouldn't raise the issue of ownership of the Parthenon sculptures during a visit by Greece's prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Starmer hit back, accusing Sunak of 'small politics', and said he has restated the UK position on the sculptures during his meeting with Mitsotakis. He told MPs: 'Mr Speaker, I discussed with the Greek prime minister the economy, security, immigration. I also told him I wouldn't change the law regarding the marbles.
